Iannone and partners engineering solutions is an engineering firm founded in 2001 by Luigi Iannone, which has also operated as a group of professionals since 2004. The firm works mainly on structures and building services, almost entirely in the public works sector, for public bodies and authorities. The firm operates a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015.

The firm is a member of the business network TS I & Partners – a network for engineering and architecture services that brings together engineering companies and professionals with structural, architectural, building services, geological, archaeological and safety expertise, offering public and private clients an integrated service covering design, construction supervision, health and safety coordination and final testing. Luigi Iannone is a member of the Network’s Management Committee.

Graduated in Civil Engineering (Structures) from the University of Salerno, with a thesis in structural engineering for the chair of Earthquake Engineering, in collaboration with the Department of Structural Mechanics of the University of Pavia. His studies followed the typical structural engineering curriculum, including Theory of Structures, Earthquake Engineering, and Bridge Theory and Design. Post-graduate training included a research grant on “monitoring of seismic areas” at the University of Salerno, and teaching collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering in Structural Engineering and Earthquake Engineering from November 2000 to March 2003. His professional training was strengthened by working with the practice of Prof. Bruno Palazzo, taking part in projects of scientific and professional significance, particularly in structural analysis. It continued with numerous specialisation courses on subjects such as finite elements, construction site safety, fire safety, graphic modelling and building services, as well as environmental topics such as environmental law and bioengineering. His professional activity, almost exclusively in public works, both as a sole practitioner and as a multidisciplinary group (Iannone & Partners since 2004), has broadened his expertise in many fields – structural analysis with particular attention to seismic isolation (Romagnano al Monte, 2005), building services, safety management and environmental design – repeatedly earning the trust of public bodies and authorities.

  • Fire safety expert – Ministry of the Interior register no. SA03856I00756;
  • Qualified health and safety coordinator for construction sites (CSP and CSE) and workplace safety officer (RSPP);
  • AEDES qualified for seismic emergency management, damage and usability surveys;
  • UAS (drone) remote pilot – EASA certificate of competency no. LUX-RP-19720307TWQW;
  • BIM Manager certified by ICMQ, no. 25-01981.
